Classic 70's maxi dress in 100% wool from Joseph Magnin in a flattering style with a double ruffle on the cuffs and deep scoop neckline. The bodice and sleeves are ribbed, and the long skirt is a more forgiving flat knit. The dress would fit a size 4-8 because it's quite stretchy. Cotton sateen 50's Hawaiian shirt in shades of intense blues and olive greens in a wild ethnic print of abstract shapes of fishes and eyes. About a size medium, it measures approx. 19" across the shoulders, 44" chest, 44" around the bottom, and 30" overall length. Excellent condition.
Cool 60's Hawaiian shirt by Kamehameha of Hawaii in cotton with silver buttons that have King Kamehameha on them. About a size L, it measures approx. 19" across the shoulders, 48" chest, 48" around the bottom, and 29" overall length. Probably worn only a few times, it's in excellent condition.
Edwardian blouse from about 1900 in cotton batiste with lots of lace insets and beautiful embroidered treadle work on the large ruffle. A small size, it measures approx. 15" across the shoulders, 34" bust, 22" waist, and 16" overall length. There are a few little mends here and there, but otherwise, the blouse is in very good wearable condition.
Lovely 50's nightgown in the palest pink nylon, with lace insets and a ruffle around the deep V neckline. It still has its original Gotham gold stripe paper tag with care instructions. The tag says size 32, and it measures approx. 32-34" bust, 26" waist, and 57" overall length. Excellent, like new, condition.

Late 30's Holoku of cotton with a classic Japanese Oriental print. The gown was probably custom made for a formal occasion or Hawaiian dancing. Examples of Holokus, or formal MuuMuus, as early as this one are quite rare. There is a long metal zipper in the back and a loop for the train, which is 28" longer than the front hem. Lovely Kalo pin with 3 acorn and leaves design in sterling silver. The Kalo Shop was the most well known silver jewelry artisan group of the Chicago Arts and Crafts Society. This pin is marked on the back "Kalo, Sterling, 164". It measures approx. 2" by 1 1/4", and it's in excellent condition.
Great 20's Art Deco Chinoiserie silk blouse in cream and yellow with shades of gold and orange hand embroidery. Hard to find in a larger size, it measures approx. 46" bust, 45" around the bottom, and 24" overall length. Exotic and practical at the same time, it's in excellent condition, except for three small dark marks on the back right sleeve (see photo).
