Wonderful 70's one-shouldered gown in allover sequins that shade from light pink on top to deep magenta on the bottom. The whole shimmering effect is quite dazzling. The gown is very well made and lined in pink chiffon, but there are a few sequins missing here and there, especially near the top right shoulder strap. Ultimate 1960's Mod minidress by Michael Mott with the Youthquake label. Paraphernalia was America's version of Biba of England, which sold the trendiest London designers, such as Mary Quant and Emmanuelle Khahn. Black rayon crepe 40's dress with an Illusion Neckline detail of applique and braid on black net over "Nude" crepe. About a size 12, it measures approx. 15" across the shoulders with lightly padded, puffed, elbow length sleeves, 45" bust, 36" waist, 16" waist length, 42" hips, and 28 1/2" skirt length. With the original matching belt, it's in excellent condition.

This 1960's mini dress of white cotton pique almost symbolizes the Swinging Sixties. The look of designers like Andre Courreges and Pierre Cardin was copied by mainstream manufacturers, like Jay Hart, who made this dress. It has an inner bra in which the foam padding has dried, but I left it because it's original. Still, the dress is in excellent wearable condition, and it would fit about a size 6-8. Gorgeous 20's Japanese silk kimono with padded hand embroidery of big chrysanthemums on a lovely cornflower blue background. The sleeves have the decorative silk braid and tassels characteristic of this period. Beautiful vintage 20's dress in white cotton batiste with lace ruffles and hand embroidery with little cherubs, bows, and flowers. The inside label says "Made In France", and this dress is very much like a Boue Soeurs with all its lush detail. A fairly straight cut, it's about a size 8, and measures approx. up to 40" bust, 40" hips, and 42" overall length. I've shown it over a simple bias cut silk slip, not included, and it's in excellent condition.

Beige cotton 50's Hawaiian shirt by Shaheen's of Honolulu with a great Tiki and palm tree print in green with metallic silver and bronze. The buttons are embossed to look like gold woven mats. A size M, the shirt measures approx. 17 1/2" across the shoulders, 45" chest, and 29" overall length. A great Tiki shirt by one of Hawaii's best labels, it's in excellent condition.
