Gorgeous fabric from the 20's with big silver lame roses over a beautiful silk print of more roses. The silk print has a truly amazing range of colors, from deep blues, greens, and purples, through shades of pinks and reds to soft golds. The fabric itself is of a medium weight -- not light, and not too heavy. I showed how it drapes on the dress form. It is 27" wide, including the selvage, and 4 yards and 35" long. It's quite a find to get nearly 5 yards of such exquisite fabric ...click for details

Sold

Argentor Art Nouveau Secessionist silver plated bowl. Three columns rising from a base support the bowl. The silver plating has worn off on most of the high spots, revealing the brass beneath, and some other areas, including the inside of the bowl. It is marked Argentor and OX. It measures approx. 5 3/4" high by 7 1/4" wide. Other than the plating issues, it is in excellent condition, with no dents or breaks.

At an almost square 47" by 49", this amazing and gorgeous textile just screams Art Deco. It has a dark gold metallic border trim that is also laid on at angles on three corners. The geometric abstract print has a beautiful sheen. It appears to be a silk and cotton or rayon blend, and it's backed in bisque-colored cotton sateen. The condition is excellent, but there are a few slightly worn spots, as shown in photo, that do not detract from the piece.

Elegant Art Deco Deer made by Hagenauer in wood and metal, probably bronze or brass. The serenity of the pose is most charming. Signed on the bottom. Measures approx. 15 1/2" Long and 11 3/4" High. One antler tip has been knocked forward a bit, creating a crack on the backside and a hairline extending around to the front. It does not appear that the tip has ever been completely seperated from the antler. There is a nick on the front edge of the base, but this is hardly noticeable when ...click for details
