Late 19th Century silk evening bag with a wonderful 800 silver handle and chain. Probably Italian, the motifs are Neptune, dolphins, and griffin-like sea monsters. The bag itself, possibly of later date than the handle, is a lovely deep green silk damask with flowers and butterflies on the outside, and an iridescent blue-purple with flowers inside. Cutest little 40's handbag in black Lizard with a box shape and polished brass hardware. The inside is black moire with gold leather piping on the two side compartments. Very well made, it measures approx. 5 1/2" tall, 7" wide, 3 3/4" deep without the 16 1/2" long handle. A little gem by a quality handbag maker, it's in excellent condition.

Wonderful early 60's Caron satchel bag with decorations of velvet fruit and leaves, a jeweled needlepoint applique, and metallic braid and other jeweled accents. The long haired fur felt and heavy cotton ecru colored rose trim are original, and the large taffeta bow and inside lining have been beautifully restored. Adorable 20's Lenci cloche for a child or big doll, of wool felt in an Art Deco pattern. All the different colors are separately pieced together, not stamped or printed. There is one approx. 3/16" long moth hole on a yellow piece on the right front section that's shown in the photo, and some very slight color fading on the band, but otherwise, the hat is in very good condition. The inside measurement for the hat band is 20 3/4".
