Wonderful 1950s Rockabilly dress by Swirl in a cotton plaid that wraps for an adjustable fit. This dress is very like the dresses of the great American designer Claire McCardell, who pioneered American sportswear. She often designed garments that wrapped to fit in comfortable, easy to wear fabrics, like cotton. Shown over a petticoat, not included, the dress is about a size 10. The measurements are approx. up to 40" bust, 29" waist at the tightest, full hips, 16" waist length, and 28" skirt length. It's in excellent condition. #VD438 SOLD
