Pyrography Flemish Art Craftsman Nouveau Picture

Beautiful Art Nouveau or Craftsman period pyrography, sometimes called Flemish Art,  picture of a woman with headband and leaves. Pyrography is a technique of wood-burning a design and then coloring in between the lines. This piece is a little darker than shown in the photo, which appears a little washed out. The colors are richer in person. It measures approx. 15" in diameter by 5/8". It has some edge wear and there is an area in the right below the leaves where there was once a gouge of approx. 1 3/4" that was sanded and colored. #WD005
