1970s Silk Embroidered Nightgown by Peony

Beautiful 1970s silk hand embroidered nightgown with the Peony label from Shanghai, China.  A nightgown from a bridal trousseau, the exquisite embroidery and open work is lavishly worked on the neckline front and back, all around the hem, and up the 21" leg slit.  The size tag says 40, and the measurements are approx. 40" bust, 38" under the bust, up to 44" hips, and 52" length without the adjustable straps.  There is a 1/8" dark spot under the bust on the left front near the side snaps, but otherwise, the gown is in excellent condition. #VL079
