1970s Paisley Shawl Jacket by Leon Paule
Wonderful 1970s Leon Paule jacket made from a vintage paisley shawl. Leon Paule of Beverley Hills was established in 1975, and he made high quality clothing. This jacket is a good example with its perfectly matched placement of the paisley wool, the gorgeous large frog closures, piping all around, and the soft rust silk lining. The condition is excellent, which is pretty amazing, because it's hard to find paisley shawls in such great condition.
The jacket is about a size 12, and it measures approx. 17" across lightly padded shoulders, 42" bust, 23" outside sleeve length, 32" waist, 45" around the bottom, and 28" overall length.
