1960s Bonnie Cashin Trench Coat
Wonderful 1950s Bonnie Cashin trench coat in a soft beige. From the Elizabeth Arden Salon, which sold fine designer goods, the nylon taffeta weather wear coat for Russell Taylor would be suitable for day or evening. It also looks great unbelted and tied at the neck. Bonnie Cashin was a designer for 20th Century Fox in the 40s, and she is regarded, along with Claire McCardell, as the mother of American sportswear. Her clothes were attuned to dancers and their motion, the variable weather of California, and to Hollywood and the movies. This beautifully made coat in excellent condition would fit a size range from 8-12.
The measurements are approx. up to 45" bust, 56" hips, and 48" overall length.
