1920s Art Deco Print Velvet Shawl

Gorgeous 20's velvet shawl with multicolored hand-knotted silk fringe. Printed silk velvet shawls from this period are extremely rare, and this print of rose garlands against a fountain shape is such a wonderful Art Deco motif. The colors are somewhat deeper that they appear in the photos. A rectangular shape with rounded corners, the shawl measures approx. 51" by 35" without the 13" fringe. There are two small holes which I've shown in the photos, but otherwise, the shawl is in very good wearable condition. #VA060
