Meticulously restored large cream colored hat from about 1900 to 1910. The long haired fur felt and heavy cotton ecru colored rose trim are original, and the large taffeta bow and inside lining have been beautifully restored. The hat itself measures approx. 10" by 13" across the brim, and about 7 1/2" in height. The inside liner has its drawstring to adjust, as hats of this era were meant to be affixed with hat pins to the large Gibson Girl style hairdos. There is even a barely visible pinhole in the front where the hatpin attached the hat to the wearer's hair. As I have mentioned, parts of the hat have been restored, so now the condition is excellent and very wearable.
