Victorian Cut Velvet Jacket Steampunk



Gorgeous vintage cut silk velvet on satin Victorian jacket that was originally high necked, and later cut down to a wide scooped neckline faced with deep pink satin. A great Steampunk look, it's a beautiful fit, with seams in front and back coming to a point in the front and a little bustle in the back. It's a very deep plum color, with little glass buttons made to look like cut-steel. The seventh button from the bottom does not quite match the others. There is an opening between two buttons at the waist line that has been patched and hooked together by seam binding, but it doesn't show when closed and buttoned. About a size 2, it measures approx. 14" across the shoulders, 36" bust, 25" waist, and 23" outside sleeve length. It's really a lovely wearable piece in excellent condition. #VS186
