Vintage 1930s Velvet Cape with Braid

Gorgeous 30s black velvet cape, probably from Morocco, with lots of warm gold metallic soutache braid. A very beautiful and wearable design, it's a smallish size because of the way it hangs on the shoulders. It fastens at the neck with a hook and eye, and the neck opening is approx. 15 1/2". The length from mid-back to hem is about 25", with the sides being about 30" long. It's lined in black moire that's slightly oversized. A wonderful collector's piece, it's in excellent condition. #VS233
