Victorian Paisley Shawl Jacket

Probably made in the 1950's, this lovely jacket was made from a Victorian wool paisley shawl. The designs are perfectly matched on the front panels, sleeves, back, and even the collar. The inside is lined in black satin, with a pocket, and a wool crepe interlining. It's about a size 8-10, and it measures approx. 16" across the shoulders, 40" bust, 45" around the bottom, 18" outside bracelet-length sleeves, and 24" overall length. There are a couple of small mends to the shawl fabric near the backside seams which are not noticeable, but otherwise, the jacket is in very good condition. #VS155
