Vintage Chinese Embroidered Pajamas -- Turquoise Silk

Gorgeous hand-embroidered silk Chinese lounging pajamas in a dazzling shade of turquoise, with traditional embroidery motifs of flowers, butterflies, and fish. The pants have a drawstring waist, and the jacket closes with silk frogs. Probably made in the 1970s, the tag says made in China 44, so the set is a fairly large size. The jacket measures approx. up to a 44" bust, 54" around the bottom, and 28" overall length. The pants measure up to a 40" waist, 46" hips, and 42" overall length. The newer Chinese pajamas are not always hand-embroidered, and the silk is a blend of silk and rayon, so this set is definitely older, but they have never been worn.
