1920s Ribbon Flower Metallic Lace Boudoir Pillow

Amazing 1920s pillow decorated with a ribbon flower and metallic lace basket on pink silk chiffon with feathers over a pale teal taffeta. The flower basket is very imaginative with its woven black velvet and metallic bronze touches and dozens of ribbon flowers surrounded by bronze lace. Made for the boudoir, these pillows were an extremely feminine touch on the bed and often had a boudoir doll next to them. The pillow measures approx. 17" across, and 4 1/2" deep. This pillow is a rare find and an example of 1920s ribbon work at its best. Except for a few missing feathers, it's in excellent condition. #TX021
