1940s Rayon Crepe Evening Suit / Swing

Elegant early 1940s black rayon crepe suit with black, shocking pink, and purple sequin embellishments on the jacket. World War II Era clothing is becoming more and more difficult to find in good condition, and this suit is a very pretty and flattering style. About a size 6, it measures approx. 14" across padded shoulders, up to 36" bust, 30" waist, and 24" outside sleeve length for the jacket, and 29" waist, 37" hips, and 27" length for the skirt. The jacket sleeves end in three covered buttons with loops, and the skirt has a wide 2 1/2" waistband and beautiful seam detail on the front. A great find, it's in excellent condition. #VS320
