#VS510 1940s Sun Valley Ski Blouse by Picard

Fabulous 1940s Apres Ski swing top from Picard of Sun Valley, Idaho, in black wool knit and rayon gabardine. This top was expensive haute couture ski wear in its day, and it features embroidered patches of some of the most famous ski resorts of the time. Sun Valley Idaho is front and center with Bern, Zermatt, Lake Placid, Mt. Mansfield, and Timberline Lodge surrounding. The beautiful bright red insert in the back is very dramatic, and there is a metal zipper at the left neckline with four buttons for the closure. The top could fit a size 6-10, because of the way its cut, and the measurements are approx. up to 44" bust, and 26" overall length. The sleeve length would depend on shoulder width, and the length from neckline to the end of the cuff is about 31 1/2". A wonderful and unusual find, the blouse is in excellent condition.
