1940s Silk Print Dress

Mid 1940s dress in a gorgeous silk print with black grosgrain ribbon trim. Fabric like this was extremely rare during this period, so it may have been from an earlier era, like the 30's. The colors are bright and vibrant, and the dropped waist skirt is very full. The neckline opening does not have a zipper or snaps and it measures 22", so it won't fit over a large head. The dress is about a size 10, and measures approx. 15" across padded shoulders with the original shoulder pads, 42" bust, 30" waist, full hips, 16" waist length, 10" sleeve end openings, and 34" skirt length. Except for some very slight yellowing inside the back neck, the dress is in excellent condition. #VD348
