1950s Emerald Green Cocktail Dress

Beautiful 1950s cocktail dress of heavy silk or silk blend Duchesse in a gorgeous shade of emerald green. Almost couture quality, this is one of those dresses that women had made specially for them by a skilled dressmaker, in this case, Helene Loy. The label is on the inside of the underskirt. The petal overskirt is lined for stiffening, and the zipper is hand stitched along with the hem and facings. About a size 6, the dress measures approx. 16" across the shoulders, 13" sleeve end openings, 36" bust, 27" waist, full hips, and 44" overall length. I guess the waist length to be around 16-17", so it's not a short or petite waist length. The dress is in excellent, like new, condition. #VD382
