Embroidered Edwardian Irish Crochet Lace Wedding Dress SOLD

Exquisite Edwardian Wedding Dress in a beautiful mix of handmade Irish crochet lace, hand embroidery on cotton batiste, and a lovely chain stitch lace with French knots on cotton netting. There are dozens of pin tucks along with little ruffles along the collar and front opening. Dresses like these, with so many handmade details, are quite rare, so I'm pretty delighted to find this one in a wearable size. About a size 8-10, it measures approx. up to 42" bust, 28" waist, up to 42" hips, 37" skirt length, 14" waist length in back, and 18" waist length in front. The bodice is lined in cotton net, and the skirt is lined in a very soft silk. I've added a pink ribbon, because these dresses had sashes originally. Dresses of this era are almost never flawless, so there are a few little mends that are very well done and don't detract. Otherwise, the dress is in excellent wearable condition. #VD404  SOLD
