Miguel Melendez Mexican Silver Mod Amethyst Bracelet
Stunning mod studio Mexican sterling silver and amethyst bracelet with the attributed mark of Miguel Melendez, circa 1950's. It's hollow, with beautifully finished attached plates, and it is made up of seven interlocking sculptured links which each contain two amethyst cabochons in a bullet shaped setting, with 14 total amethysts. Each link is a different shape and size, and the bracelet measures approx. 7 1/4" around the inside when closed, and it's approx. 1" wide on the widest link. It weighs approx. 82 grams. Signed by the artist on the back and marked "Sterling, Taxco, Mexico", it's in excellent condition. Because everyone likes a different degree of tarnish on silver, I have left it as found.
