#VM027 1940s 1950s Schiaparelli Man's Shirt

Wonderful 1940s or 1950s gray silk man's short sleeved shirt with white plastic buttons that have Schiaparelli's signature "S". The nubby silk has a great drape and hangs beautifully. The tag says "M" for medium and the shirt measures approx. 18" across the shoulders, up to 44" chest, 46" around the bottom, and 27" overall length. There is one small hole at the right chest pocket top, but the facing is behind it, and it looks like one of the silk slubs. The shirt is beautifully finished, inside and out, and it could be worn tucked in or not. It's a little piece of fashion history, and it's in excellent condition except for the flaw I have mentioned.
