1960s Beaded Cocktail Sweater Shell

Early 1960s beaded cocktail sweater shell from that MAD MEN era. This one, made in Hong Kong, as most were, is in a lovely cream colored wool. It's covered with iridescent sequins accented with pearls and crystal beads that are tassels and fringe. A size small, the shell measures approx. 13" across the shoulders, 34" bust, 30" across the bottom, and 21" overall length including the fringe. The size varies because the shell is a stretchy wool knit, and the soft silk lining is loose to accomodate it. Except for one missing fringe strand in the back, the sweater is in excellent condition. #VS576
