1950s Lord and Taylor Silk Cocktail Dress SOLD



1950s silk cocktail dress from Lord and Taylor on Fifth Avenue. The silk taffeta fabric is a gorgeous shimmering print of big purple and magenta flowers with gold centers and green leaves on a dusty lavender background. The full cut skirt with its overlapping pleats and bow front is lined in organdy. The bodice is boned and lined and the dress zips down the back with a metal zipper. Although the bust is a size 36, you need a small ribcage to wear this dress. That is why the picture of the back shows the zipper not all the way up. About a size 6, the dress measures approx. 36" bust, 26" waist, full hips, 25 1/2" skirt length, and 15" from the top of the straps to the waist. It's in excellent condition. #VD424 SOLD
