| Early 1940's dress in a wonderful print of large flower sprays in gorgeous bright colors on white rayon jersey. There are a lot of shirring details on the bodice and sleeves, as well as on the waist cummerbund that fastens in the back with five little red buttons. There is a side metal zipper and inside dress shields. The dress is about a size 6, and measures approx. 14 1/2" across the shoulders, 38" bust, 27" waist, 16" waist length, full hips, and 27" skirt length. The jersey stretches a little, and there are many gathers at the bust, so measurements can vary. The left side skirt hem is about 1" longer than the right side, probably for a specific person. Otherwise, the dress is in excellent condition. | |||||||||
